ACRYLIC CONCRETE SEALER

DESCRIPTION
ALCO SEAL Acrylic Concrete Sealer 440-1315 is a solution of acrylic co-polymers designed to seal exterior concrete surfaces. This non-yellowing formula dries to a transparent film and enhances the beauty of most cementatious materials.

USE
· May be used on concrete driveways, sidewalks, patios and around swimming pool areas. This material may be used on exposed aggregate or any other exterior concrete that would be desirable to seal.

· Resists discoloration due to ultraviolet degradation
· Enhances the resistance to rain, sun, oil, grease, industrial chemicals, solvents, deicing salts and most cleaning solvents
· Dustproofs
· Protects against air pollution
· Can be applied to colored concrete but mottling (streaking and spotting) may occur
· Can be later painted

PREPARATION
Surface of the concrete must be clean and dry. Oil stains or grease residue must be removed. On old concrete, clean surface thoroughly, removing oil stains and grease residue. Any unresolved stains left on the concrete will be visible after the film dries.


APPLICATION
Material is ready to use from the container. A manual sprayer with neoprene hose and gaskets or a short nap roller works best.

On New Concrete:  The best way to seal the surface is to use ALCO SEAL Acrylic Concrete Cure and Seal 430-1315 as son as surface water has disappeared. After 7 days, ALCO SEAL Acrylic Concrete Sealer 440-1315 may be used.

On Old Concrete:  After thorough cleaning, apply as described above.

These are approximate coverages, depending on the porosity of the surface.

VOC
This product meets the maximum VOC content limit (700 g/L) for concrete curing and sealing compounds as required by the US EPA Architectural Coatings Rule.

LIMITATIONS
· Do not use where food items are present
· Do not apply if the concrete surface temperature is below 40° F.
· May not be used on materials that are not uniform in porosity or have a non-porous surface such as brick, stone, masonry, slate, etc.  
· This product is not a waterproofing sealer for masonry surfaces

Respiratory:  Use with adequate ventilation. Inhalation of high vapor concentration may cause headaches and/or dizziness. NIOSH/MSHA Respirators required if TLV is exceeded.
Personal Protection:  Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin, which may cause irritation. Chemical resistant gloves such as neoprene are recommended. Do not get in eyes; splash proof goggles are recommended. Wear protective clothing if needed. Do not take internally.
Fire Protection:  Keep away from heat, open flame and any source of ignition.
First Aid
Eye Contact – Rinse immediately with water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
Skin Contact – Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
Inhalation – Remove individual to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration; get medical attention immediately and keep victim warm. 
Ingestion – Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.
Waste Disposal – Seal container when not in use. Empty containers must be disposed in an approved landfill in accordance with local, state and Federal regulations.

WARRANTY
We warrant our materials to be of good quality and will replace materials found defective, providing, however, that the buyer shall examine the materials when received and promptly notify us of any defects before the materials are used or incorporated into a structure for which they are intended. Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, this warranty shall extend only to comply with specifications of materials manufactured by and published by Alco Products llc, and made available to the buyer at request. We cannot warrant nor in any way guarantee particular methods, use or applications, nor can we warrant that the materials will be suitable for any intended use. This warranty is in lieu of all others expressed or implied and may not be extended by representatives, written sales or information or drawings. Nor do our distributors or salesmen or any other representatives of distributors or of this  company have any authority to extend any guarantee beyond that outlined above or to waive the limitations of the seller's liability.
