PERLITE CANT and TAPERED EDGE

DESCRIPTION
ALCO Perlite Cant Strip and Tapered Edge is a laminated, homogeneous board made of high strength fibers and moisture resistant expanded perlite beads. This high density board is light in weight yet offers exceptional strength and outstanding dimensional stability and moisture resistance. Ideal for use with all roofing systems as a fire resistant alternative to wood fiber cant strip and tapered edge.

Cant Strip is a beveled strip used under flashing to modify the angle at the point where the roofing or waterproofing membrane meets any vertical element.

Tapered Edge is used to elevate the roof at the perimeter and at curbs that extend through the roof as well as provide a gradual transition from one layer of insulation to another.

 
USE
· BUR roof construction where vertical intersections require flashing
· Beneath waterproofing membrane to promote positive drainage

We cannot warrant nor in any way guarantee particular methods, use or applications, nor can we warrant that the materials will be suitable for any intended use. This warranty is in lieu of all others expressed or implied and may not be extended by representatives, written sales or information or drawings. Nor do our distributors or salesmen or any other representatives of distributors or of this  company have any authority to extend any guarantee beyond that outlined above or to waive the limitations of the seller's liability.
